Sharing the Joy of Christmas
Christmas is a season of hope, love, and giving.
Through our Tree Angel Program, you can help bring love to local families facing difficult circumstances during the holiday season.
By becoming a Tree Angel, you can "adopt" a client family and help ensure children and parents in our community experience the joy, care, and encouragement Christmas represents.
How It Works
Beginning in the first week of November, family profiles will be available for adoption. To protect privacy, all profiles are non-identifying and include information about family members, ages, interests, needs and gift suggestions.
After selecting a family:
Purchase gifts based on the family's profile and suggested wish list.
Feel free to add your own thoughtful personal touches.
Wrap all gifts and label each package with the assigned client case file number to assist with distribution.
Return gifts to Christine's Place by the designated deadline.
Not Able to Adopt a Family?
You can still participate by donating new, unwrapped gifts.
These gifts will go to children, parents, and families who may not be matched with a specific sponsor.
Every gift makes a difference and reminds a family they are cared for and not alone.
Important Dates
Family Profiles Available: First week of November (annually)
Wrapped Gift Drop-Off Deadline: Thursday, December 10, 2026
This deadline allows our team time to organize and distribute gifts before Christmas.
Holiday Closure:
Christine's Place will close at 1:00 p.m. on December 23, 2026, for the Christmas season and will reopen on January 4, 2027.
