Stewardship Policy
Use of Funds and Financial Transparency: Allocation of funds is limited to programs and projects approved by the Board Executive of Christine’s Place. Each restricted contribution designated for a specific approved program or project will be used as directed. However, if the need for that program or project has been met or cannot be completed for any reason, as determined by the Board Executive, the remaining restricted funds will be reallocated to where they are most needed. Unrestricted contributions are directed to the general fund and used at the discretion of the organization to support the areas of greatest need. All donations are acknowledged with an official receipt for income tax purposes, issued at the end of each calendar year unless otherwise requested.
