Use of Funds & Financial Transparency
We are deeply grateful for every gift entrusted to us and are committed to stewarding each donation with care, integrity, and transparency. Allocation of funds is limited to programs and initiatives approved by the Board of Directors of Christine’s Place and aligned with our charitable purposes.
Where a donor indicates a preference for how their gift is to be used, we will make every reasonable effort to honour that request. Donations designated for specific programs or projects will be used as directed; however, if the need has been met or the program cannot be completed for any reason, Christine’s Place reserves the right to redirect those funds to an area of greatest need while respecting the spirit of the donor’s intent. Unrestricted donations are allocated to the general fund and applied at the organization's discretion to support priority needs.
All donations are administered under the oversight of the Board of Directors in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency regulations. Official donation receipts for income tax purposes are issued annually, unless otherwise requested.
